Vision of Faith Formation

Our faith formation vision at Saint Pius X is to build a vibrant partnership between our parish and our families that forms children into faithful, confident disciples of Christ, nurtured in a loving community and supported by dedicated volunteers, so they may grow spiritually and become active members of the Church.

~With faith, love, and dedication, we continue our mission to form the future leaders of the Church—one student at a time~

OUR PROGRAM

Religious Education is a faith-based program designed to give students in grades K through 8 an understanding of Catholicism in the hopes of enriching their personal spirituality and appreciation of God’s blessings. Students attend class weekly for one hour from September through April.

Our curriculum focuses on the rich history of our faith and liturgy. Students are expected to become active participants in learning through class activities and weekly Mass attendance.

Our catechists are dedicated well-trained teachers who share their spirituality with students with great enthusiasm. Catechists receive certification opportunities throughout the school year as well as training in various social topics which affect children.
