Family Catechesis is for students in grades 1 and 3 through 6. Meetings are once a month for a total of eight sessions throughout the year, blending home-based learning with parish gatherings. Each month, parents are responsible for teaching the assigned chapters at home, while on select Mondays, students bring their books for review, participate in a classroom lesson, and receive their next assignments. During these sessions, parents meet in the Parish Hall with the Deacon for a formation talk designed to help them support their children’s faith journey; afterward, students return to their parents in the hall.
Below are At Home Faith Formation resources that will help teach each chapter to your child.
